Following the footsteps of Rousseau, Erasmus, Comenius, Robert Owen and Macmillan sisters of England, we introduced various methodologies to our trainee teachers.

In 1979, we added Kindergarten system of Froebel, using multi sensory and hid outdoor plays, gifts which include gardening, origami, stick work, cubism, clay work, painting, drawing, music, drama, puppets and outdoor activities. Froebel's philosophy is similar to the basic principles of Theosophical society - "Man first should understand himself; understand his relationship with nature, and then the realization of God through nature".

In the year 1981 onwards, we had integrated the Nursery and Kindergarten system with the Montessori system of Madam Maria Montessori, which gives importance for sensory training with sensorial apparatus. This system is spread all over the World from 1907 till date and this new syllabus gives more importance for experimentation, exploration and experience.

Montessori Teacher training facilities the teachers to establish a direct rapport with the budding personality of the little children. This institution also provides all the modern aids and techniques to train teachers who can in turn train the children all over the World.

On 01.07.2001, Sri Venkateswara Montessori Teachers Training School functioning with an incredible strength of 1 student with the blessings of God and encouragement by our directors Prof. Lion A. Jayaveerapandian (AMI \ AMS Member) and Correspondent Mr. Subash (AMS Member).

With their able guidance, till today, more than 4,000 trainees have taken training from this centre and are employed in reputed schools like Venkateswara, Chinmaya Vidyalaya AVM Matric, Jawahar Vidhyalaya, Devi Academy , Pon Vidyashram, PSBB DAV, Shram Academy, SBOA, Vivekananda Vidhyalaya, T.I. Cycle School and Velammal Matric in Chennai and in such reputed schools throughout India. Our trainee teachers have started their own play schools in India and Abroad.
